Subject diversity
Students can graduate from our University with a Bachelorfs degree after obtaining 124 units of credit over four years of study.
Subjects compulsory to all students total just 16 units, giving everyone the flexibility to acquire the remaining
108 by following their own individual interest areas and desired directions of skill development.
Those accepted into our Graduate School are awarded with a Masters of International Communication upon completing a combination of both coursework subjects and supervised research. Whilst the Masters of International Communication is a two year course, particularly motivated and gifted students may be able to accelerate their studies and successfully graduate in just one year.
Widely recognized additional qualifications
Our undergraduate curriculum allows for enrollment in additional subjects that can take students along the path to
becoming a gCertified Business Presenterh or gCertified Business Information Administrator in Advanced Studies.h
Alternatively, electing to take Teacher Training classes will help them obtain a High School Teacherfs License in
either English or Computer Science. Junior High School English qualifications are also attainable.
From 2006 our Japanese Language Teaching Course will commence, offering a Teacherfs license for Japanese.
A focus on practical experience
We regard practical experience as fundamental to the process of acquiring knowledge and new skills,
and so have ensured that the taking of practical subjects by all students is necessary for their successful graduation.
Our gComplete Semester Systemh incorporates the allocation of six months for undergraduate students to engage in overseas studies
by allowing them to complete their on-campus studies in 3.5 years.
Close community spirit
The small scale of our campus provides for a friendly and cooperative atmosphere, making it easy for students
to be in touch with faculty members, staff and fellow students. Thanks to this close community spirit, any questions,
concerns or problems can be addressed quickly and easily.

Make what you have learned in the classroom truly yours
Head overseas
Second and third year undergraduate students are encouraged to take advantage of the various three-week overseas study programs
we have established with institutions in America, Canada and China. You will form lasting friendships not only with other
Musashino students who have taken up the challenge, but also with the local students you will meet through the programs.
